Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions.

Customer Basics:

  1. It is illegal for us to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18, by placing an order with Vinagogo you are confirming that you are 18 or older and the recipient is also 18 or over.
  2. Prices – All our prices are shown in UK pounds sterling and include Value Added Tax (VAT), unless otherwise stated.
  3. Delivery – Delivery is free as standard on all orders of six bottles or more to mainland UK. We will deliver your wine to anywhere in the United Kingdom (additional costs for Northern Ireland, the Highlands, Scottish islands, the Isle of Man and the Scilly Isles). Delivery generally takes 48 hours, and all orders are normally dispatched the following day of when the order is first placed.
  4. On providing Vinagogo your credit or debit card details you are confirming that you are either the card holder, or that you have permission from the card holder to use the card for the order you are making.
  5. No payment will be taken from your card until the goods you have ordered are dispatched from our warehouse, or your monthly Subscribe payment is due.
  6. Damaged or spoiled wine – In the event that any of the bottles in your case are damaged or spoiled, please let us know within 5 days of receipt. You may choose either to return all bottles or just the affected bottles for a refund. Any wines collected by our carrier must be in their original box to avoid further breakages, where possible.
  7. Availability – All our wine is sold subject to availability, and the list of available wines can change at any time. If for any reason we are unable to fulfil your order, we will notify you immediately and fully refund any payment.
  8. Claiming under our customer promise – If you feel you need to claim under our customer promise, then notify us by email info@vinagogo.co.uk.
  9. Customer satisfaction – If you are dissatisfied with our performance in any way, please contact our customer services department immediately by email at info@vinagogo.co.uk. We aim to deal with all enquiries fairly, confidentially and quickly. We will acknowledge your contact within 24 hours. We try to resolve most issues immediately, but where this is not possible, we will keep you informed about progress until a satisfactory resolution has been achieved. We are continually improving our service, but if you have any feedback please let us know.
  10. Right To Terminate – If we feel that you use of our site has been abused, we reserve the right to close your account, by inactivating it, once we have met our obligations under this promise. If we do inactivate your account, and you choose to make another purchase, whether through that account or any other, then our obligation to you for any claim will be limited to your statutory rights.
  11. We reserve the right to cancel any orders we cannot fulfill for any reason. If your order is cancelled we will contact you to explain why and refund any money you have paid us for that order.
  12. Subscriptions – Vinagogo Subscribe durations including 3, 6, 9 or 12 deliveries are delivered every 2 months, we reserve the right to change this duration at any time. Please note contents and number of bottles may vary per delivery however the contents will always reflect the price paid as a Vinagogo guarantee. On per delivery payments, these payments will be taken on the 1st of the month, there is the right to cancel at anytime however if payment has already been taken you will receive one final delivery before the cancellation is active. All pre-paid Subscribe products are non-refundable.

Prices and Payment:

  1. Prices – All our prices are shown in UK pounds sterling and include Value Added Tax (VAT), unless otherwise stated.
  2. We accept all major payment cards (VISA, Mastercard).
  3. Any discounts offered are based on previously advertised, non-discounted prices that were available for consumers to buy. Any vouchers or promotional codes will be used against the product costs only excluding VAT.
  4. We reserve the right to terminate any special offer at any time, without notice.

Age Restriction:

  1.  By placing an order with Vinagogo you are confirming that you are 18 or older. It is illegal for us to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.
  2. All orders being sent as a gift, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the recipient is also over 18 years old.
  3. If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. If the person receiving the wine is unable to produce appropriate ID, unfortunately our couriers will be unable to leave the wine.
  4. Once the wine has been delivered, according to your original delivery instructions, it becomes the recipient’s responsibility.


  1. We use secure servers with state-of-the-art encryption and secure sockets layer (SSL) technology for the transfer of credit card information. Additionally, we have security measures in place to protect our customer database and access to this database is restricted internally.
  2. It is your responsibility to protect your password from being disclosed to any third party.


  1. If some or all the bottles are broken or spoiled when they are delivered you should notify us as soon as possible. You may choose either to return the whole box or just the affected bottles for a refund.
  2. You must notify us of all wines which are due to be returned for any of the reasons stated in this clause within 5 days from delivery of the wine, otherwise you cannot rely on Clause 5a above. You can contact us by email at info@vinagogo.co.uk.
  3. All refunds and reimbursements under Clause 5a will be paid within 30 days of you notifying us of your wish to return wine under that clause, provided the wine has been collected by our carrier.
  4. Any wines collected by our carrier must be in their original box to avoid further breakages, where possible.
  5. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or miss described goods. Further information about your rights is available from your Local Authority Trading Standards Department or Citizen’s Advice Bureau.

Intellectual Property Rights:

  1. You agree and acknowledge that we own or are licensed to use all copyright, database rights, trade marks and other intellectual property rights in and to all parts of this web site, and to the business of Vinagogo, including the structure, design and layout of the web site.
  2. You are entitled to use our web site in accordance with these Terms and Conditions only. You must obtain our prior written consent before you use our web site or any part of it in any other manner.
  3. All persons, individual and corporate, are prohibited from providing hypertext or other links to the vinagoog.com web site, other than to our home page, from their own web site or from a third party’s web site, without our prior written consent.


  1. We warrant that the wines will be of satisfactory quality and fit for their general purpose.

Limitation of liability:

  1. In no event will Vinagogo be liable for any personal injury or death caused by your use or inability to use, the site, services or its products.
  2. Vinagogo will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by us or our employees or agents in circumstances where:
  3. loss or damage was not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was formed;
    loss or damage was not caused by any breach on the part of the supplier;
    loss or damage relates to business and/or non-consumers.
  4. We will not be liable for loss or damage caused by the customer handling the wine. In particular we will not be liable for spillages or breakages after the wine has been delivered to the customer.
  5. Customers should also be aware of the following inherent risks and warnings:
    1. – Alcohol should be consumed in moderation.
    2. – Wine is heavy so extra care should be taken when lifting it. If you are concerned about the weight we advise that you transfer the bottles 1 or 2 at a time.
    3. – Red wine may cause staining if spilt so extra care should be taken.
    4. – Sparkling wines and champagnes can be volatile due to the buildup of gases. Extra care should be taken when opening these.

Data Protection:

  1. By providing your details to Vinagogo on our web site, you consent to Vinagogo maintaining, recording, holding and using the information you give us at the time of ordering to process your orders, to improve our service to you and inform you of promotions. All data is collected lawfully and maintained in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
  2. Vinagogo Privacy Promise. We take your privacy very seriously and will not pass your details to any third party without your permission, other than where we must do so to get your wine to you, e.g. our delivery company. From time to time, we may send you information about discounts, free stuff and personalised offers on wine and champagne, and exclusive deals, or from partners unless you have told us not to do so by emailing us at info@vinagogo.co.uk.
  3. Vinagogo also operates an automatic newsletter to notify members of new sales. This can be unsubscribed to at any time through a link in the email, or by changing your subscription settings on our web site.
  4. If you opt-out from hearing from Vinagogo or third parties, you will only be contacted by Vinagogo regarding service issues including, but not exclusively, order confirmation and delivery confirmation, significant changes to terms and conditions and informational, non-marketing emails.

  1. We shall not be liable for any delay in delivering your product if that delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our control such as, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction, fire, flood, storm or Act of God, failure of ISP or telecommunications provider in connection with the performance of this Agreement.
  2. Vinagogo may change or add to these terms and conditions for security, legal or regulatory reasons. We will not use this right to vary the terms of any special offer that applies to you.
  3. The sale of the goods takes place only when the wine is dispatched from our warehouse. Until that time, Vinagogo will not be bound to supply the goods at the price.
