On the nose there’s aromas of quince, almond, chamomile and pear. On the palate there’s more pear, quince and citrus. A hint of minerality, sweet butter with balanced acidity. A must try!

Nikolaou Estate, currently run by Dimitris Nikolaou, was established in 1935 by his grandfather (also Dimitris Nikolaou). His father Giannis built the current winery in 1984, fresh out of his oenological studies in Bordeaux. In 1999 the winery moved to organic farming and low intervention methods to protect the environment and the unique ecosystem of the Asopos river, while raising the quality and purity of the wines. The 12ha estate produces and bottles wines from Agiorgitiko, Malagousia, Kydonitsa, Assyrtiko, Moschofilero as well as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah in small quantities.
