THE VINEYARD
This estate was founded by Céline Perrin’s ancestor, Lazare Lobreau, in 1910. Céline’s father, Christian Perrin, ran the family estate under the name ‘Domaine Christian Perrin. Céline became the 5th generation of her family to be a vigneron(ne) at the family estate when she took over from her father on his retirement in January 2015, she changed the estate name to ‘Domaine Perrin, Céline’. Her partner, Rodophe also helps her to run the 9-hectare estate. Organic approach, manual harvest, slow fermentation in concrete and ageing in old oak rounds out the edges of this wine mellowing it while retaining a purity of red fruit and minerality you can only find in the Cote d’Or.
