This Domaine Didier Desvignes Fleurie 2021 should always be on hand! On the nose there’s floral aromas of violet & roses, red cherries, raspberry and red currant. On the palate the red berries continue along with fine mineral notes. Silky smooth, elegant with a long finish. Overall a very well balanced wine. The grapes are grown using organic methods. Hand harvested and hand sorted. Whole bunch fermentation. Carbonic Maceration for 2-3 weeks in temperature-controlled vats. Matured in stainless steel and concrete vats to maintain freshness. Can be served slightly chilled.

ABV 13.5%

THE WINERY

Didier Desvignes continues a century’s work carried out by his family. He’s shown his passion since the age of 10 when he was put to work pruning the vines and learning the aromas of the wines at family tasting. From an early age he had the desire to one day grow his own vines and in 1981 he bought his first parcel of land in Morgon, under the name Domaine du Calvaire de Roche-Grès.

His respect of the vine, his passion and his rigour have contributed to the development of his vineyard with a focus on the environment and respect for nature. An organic conversion has been implemented.
