A fresh and light interpretation of Grenache Blanc, it’s aromatic with a steely citrus character. The palate has ripe pear, yellow plum and some spice, cut with a pithy citrus finish.

Produced in Wellington, South Africa, the grapes come from a certified organic vineyard called Gesamelike Wei, which means communal pasture – the site was originally used for grazing by nomadic trek farmers. The current vineyard was established in 2016, with bush vines planted on decomposed granite soils. The fruit is hand harvested, de-stemmed and pressed into a stainless-steel tank, where fermentation takes place naturally. Malolactic fermentation is blocked. The wine is aged in neutral vessels until bottling.
