On the nose there’s impressive aromas of rose, jasmine, orange blossom, lemon and green apple. On the palate there’s lemon, lime and grapefruit accompanied by notes of rose water, bergamot and ginger. Medium bodied with good acidity and a fairly long finish.

THE WINERY

Bosinakis Winery first started operating in 1992 but siblings Katerina and Sotiris Bosinaki have only been bottling their own-label wines in 2009, when they decided to try and show the full potential of the Moschofilero grape. The winery is situated in Steno village and the vineyards sit at 700m, where the high-altitude and clay-rich soils are perfect for Moschofilero, providing it with the right balance for its light body and the fine edge of its aromas. The Bosinakis family have made a name for themselves by concentrating their knowledge and efforts solely on Moschofilero and specializing in small lots of outstanding single vineyard wines.
